Adapt MCR is an underground techno collective that always aims to deliver the best electronic music. Supporting the scene is paramount to their ideology, whether it’s booking rising artists, showcasing label nights or featuring international and local DJ/ producers on their podcasts.
Adapt MCR currently holds events in the basement of The Soup Kitchen which is situated in the heart of Manchester’s vibrant Northern Quarter. Club nights such as meandyou, Rhythm Theory and Zutekh have all established a loyal and discerning following at the venue, which won best Manchester nightclub in 2013 and was also listed as one of the UK’s top 10 nightclubs earlier this year by The Guardian.
The residents styles are varied but always consist of an authentic sound which beckons of Berlin and Detroit; the type of music that has deeply inspired many people from all corners of the globe. A movement that Manchester is very much familiar with. Residents honour the all important timeless classics as well as the strange, the obscure and the new.
